He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Marie (Don) Fernando, Generoso, Francis (Fe), Mila (Cel) Mendoza, Ricky (Beth), Angie (Victor) Ocran, Fredy (Jennie), Arthur (Lisa), son-in-law Randy Del Carmen. Grandchildren: Gisele, Genel (John), Roy, Maricute, Glenn (Cord), Dexter, Neal, Jeffrey (Joycelyn), Jenifer (Moiy), Sharon (Loreto), Charlene, Beverley, Michelle, Ashley, Isza, Iris, Alexi, Christine, Chantel, Casey, Chad, Shianne, Rhaelyn, Kianna, Natalia, Chantal, Chelsea, Charisse, and Josh. Great-grandchildren: Chester, Tanya, Dexter, Chad, Devon, Lotus, Ava, Zayda, Xavier, Julian, Mikaih, Izabelah and Kingston. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Ludencia (Luding, née Manaloto) and daughter Lourdes (Lady) del Carmen. Claro was born in San Antonio, Arayat, Pampanga, Philippines on August 12, 1918, and immigrated to Winnipeg with his wife in 1980. Lamay (Viewing) will be held from 6:00 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with prayers starting at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street with Msgr. Enrique Samson Jr. celebrant on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at 8:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow at Glen Lawn Reception Centre. Special thanks are extended to the Home Care Staff for all their care and compassion.
