EDGAR C. WEBER Peacefully on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at the Victoria General Hospital, Edgar Weber passed away at the age of 93 years. He was predeceased by his first wife Frieda and two brothers: Artur and Jakob. Edgar is lovingly remembered by his wife Edith; children: Helmut (Amy), Artur (Ludmilla), Gerda (Bill) Scott, Ingrid (Jack) Pearce, grandchildren: Christopher, Karilee, Eduard, Michael, Bobbie, Tracy, Jay; six great-grandchildren, brother Heinrich and family in Germany. In accordance with Edgar's wishes, no service will be held. Interment was held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to the staff of Victoria General Hospital for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Edgar to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the charity of one's choice. Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550

I've only ever known my life with Onkel Edgar in it...he was a good man & a quiet, gentle soul. I will cherish always the many wonderful, happy memories of family, especially from my youth at White Lake, Jessica Lake, & weekends & holidays on Oakwood. Though I am saddened by his passing, I am relieved Onkel Edgar is at peace...no doubt enjoying some of his favorite things in life...like fishing & playing cards with friends & loved ones who have gone before him.
