RON GRANTHAM November 29, 1943 - October 13, 2012 Peacefully holding his Mother's hand and with family by his side, Ron passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the age of 68 years. Ron was predeceased by his father, Arthur and sister, Gail. Ron will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his wife of 17 years, Maureen, stepdaughter, Lisa (Charles L.), grandchildren, Jesse, Austin and Skylynn, his loving mother, Laura Grantham, his siblings, Barry (Lorraine), Dale (Belinda), Lynda (J.P.), numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great- nephews, other relatives and great friends. He will also be remembered by Donna, Rita, Chris, Brenden and Matt. A very SPECIAL thank you to Dr. Slutchuck and Melissa, Dakota Pharmacy, Health Sciences Centre Emergency, all the special teams, doctors, nurses, aides right down to the T.V. guy'. The palliative care program, Kris, the home nurses and respite workers; it is because of their support Ron was able to be at home longer. Riverview 3East Palliative Unit's doctors, nurses, aides, housekeepers; they made the end of Ron's long journey the best it could be. To Skylynn: Grandpa would like you to know that he will miss you pulling his beard and bossing him around. To Jesse and Austin: Grandpa would like you to know, GO Elmwood Giants GO To Lisa: AMAZING DAUGHTER Without you by my side I don't know how I would have gotten through everything. I am so proud you are my daughter. - Love Forever, Mom To my in-laws: I always knew what an amazing family I have with hearts of gold but, I can't express enough how you were there for Ron and I. - All my love, Maureen In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to Children's Rehabilitation Foundation as Ron's granddaughter benefits greatly from their services. Information will be available at the service. In keeping with Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. RON GRANTHAM It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Ron Grantham on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 68 years. In keeping with Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
