Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD ARMAND BROUILLETTE February 1, 1940 October 12, 2012 Our beloved Donald Armand Brouillette left us on October 12, 2012. He leaves behind Shirley who has spent the last 24 years with him. They have been each other's rock, especially the last few years which has seen both suffer many illnesses. Don's children, Donald Jr. (Joanne), Derrick (Alanah) and daughter Marcie (Wayne). Their children Hannah, Brock and Jeanine. His brother Brian (Marlene). Don also leaves behind Darlene (Jim), Alexia and Ariana who loved him as a father and Papa. They will miss his presence and will cherish all the wonderful memories of him. As well, many wonderful and dear friends who will miss his friendship and caring spirit. A special thank you to Colleen and all the nurses from the Dialysis Unit at St. Boniface Hospital. At Don's request, cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held at a later date. I hope that Shirley and her family can find peace and live well. Our family is trying to do the same. My father and I had been estranged for some time, but I was able to see and speak with him for an hour or so the day he passed away - I had joined my sister Marci at the hospital (she had always tried to be near him). Dad's passing was very difficult for me! I liked my dad and hoped he liked me. My sadness is deeper than I imagined it would be since we had somehow grown apart. I hope he had forgiven me although I am not certain he needed to. I miss you dad. Don PS Joanne, my wife, always liked my father especially because she saw in him many traits and characteristics that are a part of me.
