Many years ago we spent a white Christmas with Bill and Joyce's family at their Winnipeg home . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it will be a time we will never forget. We were given the opportunity to return the favour by having them stay with us and gave them the opportunity to see parts of Australia. Bill was a true gentleman with a loving heart. We will cherish the recent visit to Canada where we were able to spend time with Bill and reminisce. All our love to Joyce and family. Everlasting Memories Memories are those that stand out a lot more at these times. There are so many memories that we set aside but now is time to relive them. They sometimes offer the comfort you need to see you through another day. Bill has left you with a lifetime of them and we hope they will be a source of comfort in these trying times. We will really miss Bill, we had so many good times on and off the ballfield and we will always remember his smile and friendly nature. Although we lived a fair distance away we will remember our many phonecalls discussing softball and computer fixes and golf and his garden. Our thoughts are with Joyce and the family. Joyce, I just wanted to extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family. It was a shock to hear of Bill's passing from a friend at the lake. Bill was older than I and always thought he was a stand up guy and Bill had a certain carisma about him. I know Joyce and Jimmy and Bev. Please accept my condolences to his family. - Posted by: BILL Taylor (Friend) on: Oct 20, 2012

Sonny's Smile always brought Sunshine wherever he went. He had a great mission of keeping family ties together and graciously offered his home to hold a family reuinon that was a once in a lifetime experience. I will always remember his baseball stories of hitting home runs so that he wouldn't have to run so hard around the bases... He was and always will be a big hitter in my mind, and our hearts. - Posted by: Joe Nykoluk (Cousin) on: Oct 20, 2012
