Growing up with Kevin and Don Jr. I spent many times in their home, pool and sometimes just briefly stopping in. Mrs. Burke was always happy to see you and was always cheerfully asking "How have you been ?" She would always greet you with a smile and a happiness in her voice, and was always very pleasant to be around and have funny conversations with. As I grew older and had a family of my own, she would always ask how my son was , at that time we spoke as parents and not just the long haired kid who hung around with her sons but on a different level, sometimes talking about old times when Kevin and I were young and foolish and laughing that I was in for a real experience as my son got older. She was always very proud of her family's accomplishments and was one of the most down to earth non judgemental people I have ever met. I will always remember her kindhearted demeanor, her positive outlook on life and her smile always asking " How are you ?"
