She was predeceased by her son Ian McDonald, her husband Earl Lucas, and siblings Margaret, Douglas, Phyllis and Bill. Ruth is survived by her daughter Marilyn McDonald, sister Elizabeth Taylor, and nieces, nephews and their families. At Ruth's request, there will be no formal service.
