OLLIE LILLIAN AUDETTE (nee OLGA SWANTKO) Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Ollie Audette passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Deer Lodge Centre. She was predeceased by her husband Theodore (Ted) Audette in 2006. Ollie leaves to mourn her two devoted, loving sons, Alasdair and Darryl. She also leaves to mourn her brother Bill Swantko in Toronto, her two sisters Vicky (Joe) Jarduck and Natalie Hnatiuk of Winnipeg, and numerous cousins and nieces. Mom was born in Gonor, Manitoba on February 14, 1935 and attended Gonor School. She worked at the Rendevous Drive Inn in Lockport, Manitoba and later at the Eaton's Department Store in the mail order department. She married dad on July 25, 1959. She later became a full time, stay at home mom and tended to keeping the house tidy, tending to her flower gardens, and raising her two children. Viewing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Mom, we will all miss you and love you more than you could ever know. You are now at home with dad. Rest in peace.   • Mom, It's been two years today that I received the phone call from Deer Lodge just after 4 in the morning. I can still remember it as if it was yesterday.
