Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCRISTINA MANOY (nee ORTIZ) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Nanay peacefully passed away on October 25, 2012, with her children by her side. Nanay was born in Alapan, Imus, Cavite, Philippines. She was predeceased by her husband, Maximo; her parents, Mariano and Maxima and brother Lazaro; parents-in-law, Fabian and Juliana; sister and brothers in-law, Marcelo, Silvero, Isabel, Maura, Margarita and Juana. She is mourned by her children, Leonie (Cho), Celso Sr (Rebecca), Doss (Benny), Dith (Abie), Betty, Lucy (Bert), Sol and Belen, Lib; her grandchildren, Connie (Bryan), Rodel, Rick (Jackie), Celso Jr. (Ann), Mike, Michael, Cris, Theresa, Elsa (Marc), Marivic, Napoleon, Loralyn, Leslie (Kevin), Abner (Daisy), Lanie, Arnel, Levin, Lorraine, Mike (May) and Mylene (Arthur); her great-grandchildren, Marisa, Abner Jr, Elisha, Khristopher, Ethan, Ashleen, Alex, Kalvin, Akira, Brennan, Caylee, Jayden Maximo, Christopher, Nathaniel, Joy; her sisters Leoncia, Victoria, Lourdes (Oscar), Tir (Abling); sister-in-law, Ponying, Roman (Nene). Gloria (Pol) and numerous nieces and nephews. Lamay will take place on Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3 between 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 6 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 818 Arlington St., with Fr. Gary Killen officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Funeral Garden. The family expresses their sincerest thanks to everyone that contributed to her care and well being. My deepest sympathy to all the members of manoy family, I wish i was able to visit nanay tinang even for the last time to put a smile on her face everytime i tell funny stories, but she is in a better place now with no pain and for sure she is happy now with tatay, her loving husband.
