HELEN JAROSZ 1931 - 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Helen Jarosz, on the early morning of December 6, 2012 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her husband, Adam Jarosz, in 2007. She is survived by her four children, Bernice, Jo Ann (Mike), Wally (Nicky) and David, four grandchildren; James, Sarah, Anna and Pamela and three great-grand-children. Helen worked for 24 years at Motor Coach Industries before retiring. She spent most of her life in Manitoba and later moved to Abbotsford, BC for three years which she enjoyed very much, as it allowed her to be close to her one sibling, sister Joy (Michael). Helen enjoyed bird-watching, long drives in the country, doing lunch and getting together with family. She loved to sing in the church choir and was an active member of the CWL for many years. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Dr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association. My one and only dear Sister. The years we spent together the memories cannot be erased. Of course the ones that stand out most are the recent ones. When you moved to BC: Our gambling trips across the boarder, our restaurant outings, you were always ready willing & able. The time that freaked me out was when you ran a stop sign then said "there was no stop sign". I had to prove it to her on the way back. There were times I would have just as well stayed home, but she just would not take no for an answer. She was a little stubborn too.
