Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADELINA (ARLENE) SIMON June 14, 1928 - December 12, 2012 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Arlene Simon, on December 12, 2012 at the Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 84 years. Her memory will be cherished by her daughter Aurora (family) and her sons Boyet (family), Bing (family), Rodolfo (family), Rodel (family), Nanding (family), 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and their families. Arlene was born June 14, 1928 in Uson, Philippines, who spent her time as a very well known teacher. In 1987 she immigrated to Canada, where she resided for years. She was a longtime president and member of the Original Filipino Senior Association of Manitoba (OFSAM). Because of her very strong faith and fear to dishonor God, we were inspired by her wisdom, hard work, strength and determination in life. She will be missed but always remembered through her amazing and wonderful heart. Viewing (Lamay) will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 and Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd at 7:00 p.m. to midnight. As well as the funeral mass on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Health Sciences Centre for the care and support.
