HOWARD JOHN MUNRO MCNICOLL September 1, 1947 December 11, 2012 With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Howie McNicoll at the St. Boniface Hospital, after a difficult battle with cancer. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 42 years Edna, his daughter Lee-Anne, his son Howard (Tyanne) and grandchildren Noah, Becky and Matthew; his mother Caroline, brother Brian, sister Elizabeth (Mark), brother-in-law Patrick, sisters-in-law Joey (David), Deb, Lois and numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends. Howie was predeceased by his father Howard and both of his in-laws. Howie was born in Edmonton, AB where he started his career in Electrical Distribution. He moved his family to Winnipeg and eventually started his company Prairie Central Line Supply of which he was very proud. He met many very good people along the way who became lifelong friends. Howie was a long- standing member of the Granite Curling Club and Niakwa Golf Course. Howie and Edna enjoyed travelling, especially to the warmer climates where he enjoyed many hours on the golf courses with family and friends. The family would like to express their thanks to the doctors and nurses of St. Boniface ICU and of CancerCare, who took such excellent care of our husband and father. As per Howie's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Howie's name may be made to the charity of one's choice. Rest in peace my love. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca.
