  • I remember Corrine from her years at RETSD. I worked with her for several years. I had not seen Corrine for some time but often would think of her fondly. She had such a great smile and great attitude. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that you will get through this difficult time. - Posted by: Veronica Van Leeuwen (former physiotherapist ) on: Jan 08, 2013

  • I am very sad that Corrine is in heaven. She was my good friend. We had fun playing games together and she liked yellow balloons. We went to school together for a long time. I liked her electric wheelchair. We had fun going bowling with Allison and the others. I still have her picture and I put in on my dresser. I miss her like I miss my own grandfather. - Posted by: Mark Cetkovski (Friend) on: Jan 06, 2013

  • My Deepest Sympathies to the Hurd family. I had the pleasure working with Corrine in High School and it was so Much fun. She was always a Happy girl and always made me feel there was a purpose to life. She aways love to talk and see the different lights and her favorite color was yellow. She made going out an adventure. She wore a smile at all times. It was great to see her just before Christmas when we performed our Christmas songs together. To the Family you have a angel in heaven watching over you. - Posted by: Cheryl Hauk (friend) on: Jan 06, 2013

  • My heart goes out to the whole family. With deepest sympathy, Tracy - Posted by: Tracy Pehar and family (2nd cousin) on: Jan 06, 2013

  • Corinne was a great person to be around. Every school day would be lit up with how happy she seemed to be there with her friends. She always had great stories to share about the previous evening or the weekend she just had and was always sure to politely ask how your day was going. I'm very sorry for the loss to her family and friends. I'm sure everyone's memory of Corinne will always bring a smile to their face. - Posted by: Kayla Kocian () on: Jan 05, 2013

  • I remember having Corrine in my grade 7 class, I'd sit with her and we'd do our work together when we were working in pairs. She always seemed so happy and excited, to be at school, to be around other people and just to be alive. Even though I didn't know her well and I haven't seen her in almost 9 years Ill never forget her. Even thoguh she was with us for such a short time, she made a lasting impression on those who knew her; one that'll last forever. My heart goes out to her friends, family and to Crystal. I feel blessed that I got to know her, may she rest in peace. - Posted by: Will McCollom (former classmate) on: Jan 04, 2013

  • I have known Corrine and Crystal since I failed grade four. I have spent grade four till the end of my high school years in 2004 having lunch with her. My first discovery with Corrine was my yellow and black flashlight and when it lit up she was astonished and wanted to hold it. Corrine was awesome to hang around with and made me feel comfortable as others teased me through the years or bullied as its now called. My heart goes out to Corrine Crystal David Theresa and Bill. Ans I'm sorry to hear it was so close to after Christmas and so close to my bday jan 5 th that I heard of this. Hope all goes well as I know for experiences in the past with my grandfather and uncle in a two month span one after the other that yes life will tumble life will kick u hard but remember u all have friends to lean on to. And don't forget that I'll be here to listen to anyone if needed. It's too bad Corrine didn't get to see my little daughter in person but where she now is I believe she sees Mia now. Lots of love to u all and I'm sorry about ur loss. With love Tanya miller - Posted by: Tanya Miller (Friend) on: Jan 03, 2013

  • I remember Corrine from elementary, middle school, and high school. One memory of mine was that Corrine loved to read in her early years. I specifically remember her receiving an award for I love to read month when she was in grade 5 or 6. If I am not mistaken she read the most books. She was always super happy and excited and seemed to enjoy her life very much. I am deepy sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Jeremy Chroniak () on: Jan 03, 2013
