DION LEE DESJARLAIS April 20, 1964 - January 9, 2013 It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Dion Lee Desjarlais of Lundar, Manitoba, on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at the age of 48 years. Dion leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Vivian; his brothers, Perry (Carolyn), Dean (Marilyn), Bradley (Trina) and Darren; his nieces, Natallie, Kathy, Tiffany, Kayla and Brandy; his nephews, BJ and Jessie (Vickie); his great-nephews, Jager, Ethan, Kenneth, Jayden and Joey; his uncles, Ken Frankie and Clarence; his grandmother, Irene (Lewis) Sevigny; his auntie Marge; as well as numerous cousins and friends. Dion was predeceased by his father Eugene (Bobby); his brother Alvin; his uncle Jules Big Joe ; his aunties, Leone and Simone; also by his special auntie Louise. Dion lived most of his life in the Deerhorn area. His life was limited because of his illness, muscular dystrophy. Dion liked his rodeos, horses and riding the three wheeler. He enjoyed going out and spending time with people. Everyone liked his smile and he was always happy. Dion loved to sing, especially to his horse. At the family's request, there will be no funeral service. A private family service will be held at his residence.
