HILDEGARD DUMKE Peacefully in her sleep on Friday, January 18, 2013, Hildegard passed away in her residence at the age of 87 years. Hildegard was predeceased by her husband Martin and her brother Otto. She is survived by her sister Erika (Arno), nephew Armin (Karen, Arno, Markus) and niece Angie (Lee, Ryan, Kristofer). Hildegard was born in Johannisburg, East Prussia (Germany) and immigrated to Canada with her husband Martin in 1958. She enjoyed life and above all spending time with her family and friends. She excelled at her needlework and cooking while also taking pleasure in gardening and reading. She was a very meticulous and hard working person. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Gathering of family and friends will be held at Glen Lawn Reception Centre. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the family and friends that have helped Hildegard throughout her pleasurable and hard times.
