Our deepest condolences to all of Cliff's family. "Cliffy" will be missed by all of us! My girls, Garry and I have many fond memories of his visits to Alliston Ontario on his stop overs from and to his visits to his children in southern Ontario. We shared many laughs and good times. Cliff was a very kind man who became a big part of our family. Cliff attended many family dinners and events in Pembroke with my mom and our family. He loved to play horseshoes and cards. He got in the occassional golf game and even got a hole in one! We will all miss Cliff dearly! "Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understandings with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints in our heart, and we are never ever the same." ~ Chicken Soup for the Soul - Posted by: Lori, Garry, Tanyss, Lauren Lavallie and Doris Biesenthal (Friends) on: Jan 31, 2013

We had the pleasure of meeting Cliff in Thompson Manitoba in 1988 through the Knights of Columbus. In 1992 Cliff took on the huge task of documenting the history of the Knights of Columbus, Thompson Council 5961, commemorating the Order's 25th anniversary of charitable service to Church and Community. Cliff worked countless hours, burning many candles from both ends in order to have the information completed and presented in a professionally prepared spiral bound booklet. It was indeed a work of art that Cliff was very proud of. After Cliff moved to Ontario we saw him on his return visits to Manitoba but really got to reconnect when he returned to Winnipeg 2 years ago. We really enjoyed the times Cliff spent with us in Portage La Prairie reminiscing on the good years we shared in Thompson. Cliff's surprise visit to our 40th Wedding Anniversary this past summer was very dear to us and will be forever cherished. Cliff's Children and Grandchildren were his reason for existence and constantly spoke highly of them especially Angela and Rebecca. Brother Cliff, you will always be with us in our thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Irvin & Gisele Wegleitner (Very dear friend & Brother Knight of Columbus) on: Jan 28, 2013
