Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN MOORE (nee SHAW) It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Moore (nee Shaw) on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the Tri-Lake Health Center, Killarney, MB. Helen passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Sandra (Rudy) of Amherst, NS, and her son Darren (Jana) of Winnipeg, MB, as well as grandchildren Cayley, Lucas, Chelsey and Aaron. She was predeceased by her parents Hiram and Lillian Shaw and her sister Lila Funk. She leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters, Stewart (Darlene), Margaret (Frank), Olive, Don (Marsha) and numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was born in Crystal City and raised on the family farm in Cartwright. She then spent many years living, raising a family and working in Winnipeg before retiring and moving back to Cartwright in 2011. She will be fondly remembered for her great sense of humour and her love for her family and friends. She loved her August long weekends with family in Spruce Woods Park, trips to the casino, morning coffee at Olive's and helping her sister with her flowers. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Tri-lake Health Center in Killarney for their care and support. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held at Cartwright, MB and interment at Cartwright Cemetery on Thursday, January 24, 2013. Sandra and Darren Im away right now and I had a great love for your Mom she was the best. I will miss her dearly. may she rest in peace. God Bless your family. hugs and kisses to each of you.
