NELLIE HARASYMEC (nee WINZINOWICH) Mom passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 94 years. She is survived by daughter Elsie and husband Bill (Duynisveld) and son Eugene and wife Carolyn; grandchildren Gerald and Rita Duynisveld, Sandra and Allen (Garinger), Janice and Graeme (Bidewell), Kim and Allan (Suggitt), Christine Harasymec, Tara Harasymec, and Stephanie and Merrick (Chen); great-grandchildren Katie and Laura Garinger, Stephen and Cole Duynisveld, Nicholas and Graham Suggitt, and Addisyn Chen; brother Peter and wife Mildred, sister-in-law Stella and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Leontina; husband Steve of 58 years; brothers Joe (Frances), John (Mary) and Ralph; sisters Katie (John) and Frances (Joe). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home, Cemetery Crematorium, 1800 Day Street in Transcona with Reverend Michael Krochak officiating. An interment will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Cooks Creek. Pallbearers will be, Gerald, Stephen and Cole Duynisveld, Allan, Nicholas and Graham Suggitt. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nellie's memory to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba at 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or to a charity of your choice. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the Concordia Hospital Staff on 3W and a heartfelt thanks to Auntie Stella for support and care for Mom. Vichnaya Pam'yat!
