JOSEPH HANLON It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph (Joe) Hanlon on January 29, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family. Joe was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Hanlon. Left to cherish his memory are his adored and adoring wife Lise, daughter Megan, and sons Michael and Jordan. He is survived by his sisters Pat (Glen) Auld, Mary (Bob) Wagner, his brothers Tony (Rosemary) and Matthew (Janet) Hanlon, and several nieces and nephews. Joe was a great fan of the game of basketball and enjoyed supporting his children on and off the court, and spending his evenings at home watching Kobe Bryant and the Lakers while enjoying a good cup of Tetley tea. Joe had recently retired and was looking forward to many road trips and travels abroad with Lise. Joe's memory will remain as a source of courage when faced with adversity. We celebrate his life by remembering his kindness, humour and love for his family. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2013 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Always loved but never forgotten. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550

Lise: I was saddened to hear about Joey. Although it's been years since I last saw all of you, I will never forget Joey's wonderful sense of humour...he sure could make me laugh. My heart is breaking for you. Thinking of you and your family... Suzie - Posted by: Suzie (Fournier) (Cousin of Lise) on: Feb 01, 2013

Joey was a very kind and humble man always ready to help and/or give advice; always enjoyed the great conversations with him and Lise on my visits. Would often find him shooting hoops with Megan, Michael and Jordan in their driveway. Rest in Peace Joey.
