JUDY ANNE FORD (nee SPARROW) August 22, 1944 - February 10, 2013 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Ford, our loving mother, grandmother and sister. Judy is survived by her sons, Brad (Marisa) Ford, Rob (Tracey) Ford and four grandchildren; Kiana, Hailey, Ayden, and Kai. Judy will be fondly remembered by her sister Margaret and brother-in-law Darrell Fierheller, her niece Kathy (Derrick) Mathae, Brett, Courtney, and Amanda, as well as her nephew Bruce (Lori) Fierheller, Jasmine and Richard. Judy retired from Canada Post on May 31, 2011. She volunteered in the community for years. She enjoyed her many friendships and memories through Transcona Legion No. 7 and attending her weekly bingos and meat draws. She was always eager to participate in the activities of her children and grandchildren. Judy enjoyed life and making people smile. She was known for her good nature, giving heart and sense of humor. The family would like to send a special thanks to Dr. Wong and staff at Riverview Palliative Care, to Richard, Community Nurse and also to Dr. Maksymiuk and Dr. Ahmed of CancerCare Manitoba. As per Judy's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. Donations can be made in Judy's memory to CancerCare Manitoba or to a charity of your choice. • Judy was a great gal! - Fun loving & always smiling and making people laugh. I truly enjoyed her friendship, which started in the bars & hockey rinks in Transcona where I found out that she went to the same high school as I did and we had many mutual friends. I remember playing baseball with her and taking our kids to hockey games at East End and Oxford Heights...at that time hockey was fun to watch as the kids were only 4 to 6 years old. My sincere condolences to Brad, Robb and all the rest of the family. Judy was "One of a kind" - a good friend. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: MargaretGlew (Friend) on: Feb 16, 2013
