SISTER SIMONE TRUDEAU, S.J.S.H. 1928-2013 In Saint-Hyacinthe, QC, on January 28 2013, Simone Trudeau (Sister Laurette-de-Jésus) passed away at the age of 84 years, 61 of them in religious life. She was born in Ile-de-Chênes MB, the daughter of Paul Trudeau and Laurette D'Auteuil. Of the 50 years she lived in Lorette, 34 were dedicated to teaching. To mourn her passing she leaves a brother, Arthur (Laurette Bergeron), two sisters-in-law Rita (late Fernand), Héléna Audet (late Augustin), as well as many nephews and nieces, other relatives, and many treasured lifelong friends. Her funeral was held on Friday, February 1 in the chapel of the mother house of the Sisters of Saint Joseph, followed by burial in the cemetery of the congregation.
