BELLE GEROW It is great sadness the family announce the passing of Belle Gerow on Monday, February 18, 2013, at the Health Science Centre. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned for the beginning of April. Longer obituary to follow.

  • To William & Debbie, We are so honoured to join you in the Celebration of the life of your wonderful mother at this time via this note. It is difficult to lose a loved one and you will have such great memories of your lives together. Her warnmth and smile were infectious and I am sure made your obstacles in life seem less problematic. How could I forget two of my students appearing on the Rossport School front steps with a generous slice of freshly baked pie and other delicacies from the Gerow "bakery". How could I forget all those great Sunday meals up over the hill from the schoolyard! We remember the time when your Mom & Dad stayed a few days with us in Toronto and your Mom coming with you to my Retirement Party. We were so welcomed whenever we came to Winnipeg and were treated as part of the family. I guess the best tribute I can make is the fact that you two possess many of the fine attributes of your parents. We're with you in our thoughts at this time of bereavement and celebraton of a great life. Although not being able to be with you in April, we will be with you in spirit.
