MILAN KUCINIC SR. Milan Kucinic Sr., 89, died peacefully in his sleep on February 21, 2013, at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg. Born March 13, 1923 in Ogulin, Croatia, he is predeceased by his wife, Ruza and his son Ivica. Milan was a devoted Father and loving Grandfather. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and riding his bike. Milan would frequently meet up with his friends at Tim Hortons for coffee and enjoyed attending the Croatian picnic on Sundays. He spent a great deal of time with his grandchildren and was an active part of their lives, always telling stories and giving advice. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Milan and daughter-in-law Jasna, their children: Suzana (Jeff), Gordana (Bryan) and Milan Jr. (Jenny), his daughter-in-law June and her children: Ivica Jr. (Christina), Milan (Corrine) and Marijuana, great-grandchildren Anissa, Angelina, Elena, Isabella, Adrianna and Yavon. A private memorial service will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral home at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 and a burial to follow at the Holy Ghost Cemetery. A special thank-you is extended to the staff at Riverview for their kindness and the great care they gave to our beloved family member; also, to all our friends and family for their love and support at our time of need.
