RUTH BECHRAKIS After a year-long battle with cancer, Ruth Bechrakis nee Merrifield passed away March 22, 2013 in the care of St. Boniface General Hospital. Ruth is survived by her husband, James, their twin children Stella and Joseph, her mother, Jude Merrifield, and her brother Scott Merrifield. Ruth was a kind, loving person who uplifted the hearts of hundreds of people, both in friendship and her caring work at the Health Sciences Centre. In keeping with Ruth's wishes, a celebration of Ruth's life will be held on April 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at North Kildonan United Church, 174 Pentland St., Winnipeg, MB.
