MELVIN W. (MEL) SCHARF Melvin W. (Mel) Scharf, beloved husband of the late Marlene Scharf, died peacefully at home in the valley on April 13, 2013 at the age of 74. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Blair Morrison Hall in La Riviere, MB at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Mel may be made to South Central Cancer Resource, 2-160 Stephen St., Morden, MB R6M 1T3, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.   • It saddens our hearts to know of our dear friend Mel, passed away suddenly in his home on April 13, 2013. We are going to miss you very much as you were not only a good friend you were a mentor and a great inspiration on and in our lives. I am going to miss your smile and the dances we once shared.
