URSULA PORPS (nee ERHARDT) Her death on April 11, 2013 ended more than seven months of suffering but did not end the 64 years of marriage. Husband Guenter invites family, friends and neighbours to celebrate Ursula's life on Wednesday, May 8 at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Highway. Our son Guntram will be here and his wife Ellen, with children Benjamin (son Tim) and Phoebe will celebrate in Germany. Sincere thanks to Catarine and her staff on the 3rd floor, West 1 at Concordia Hospital for great care and making us feel like extended family. Ursula's last days were spent in the Main floor ward and thanks to staff there for selflessly keeping her comfortable during her last earthly days. We will also not forget the great and friendly care from the nurses and homecare staff that spent time with Ursula at home. In lieu of flowers, we respectfully suggest donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba.
