Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGREG GAUDRY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Greg Gaudry on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Actionmarguerite St-Vital Nursing Home. Greg was born on March 12, 1920 in Lorette. He was predeceased by his parents Delphis and Anna Gaudry, sister Gloria Gaudry and wife Emily Gaudry (Nee Gustafson). He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his son Greg (Rusty) Gaudry, daughter Laverne Leenhouts, grandchildren: Allyson and Derek, his sisters Irene Gaudry, Leonora Raymond, Leona Vandermeer and brother René. Greg served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War as an Aero Engine Mechanic. This was the stepping stone to his 29 year career with Air Canada. He was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life going for long walks, bowling, curling, golfing, hockey, camping, gardening but most of all music. After listening to both his parents play fiddle, he discovered he had a natural talent as well. This boded well as he enjoyed meeting and entertaining people. A celebration of Greg's life will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A private interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff, volunteers, and family members for the care received at Actionmarguerite. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in memory of Greg to Actionmarguerite St-Vital at 450 River Road, Winnipeg, MB, R2M 5M4. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca.
