Beloved husband and best friend of Jeannine for 53 years passed away peacefully surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for, and loved on July 19, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents, twin brother Harry, and his dearly loved son, Jeff. John was born in Eindhoven, Netherlands on July 29, 1932. He, along with his family, immigrated to Canada in 1952. He landed in Winnipeg where he met and married the love of his life, Jeannine. Together they raised a family, had wonderful summers at Albert Beach where he built a cabin and vacationed around the world spending 22 winters in Portugal. Dear Jeannine I am deeply sorry that my dear friend and client has passed away. I indeed know how much he adored Portugal I was fortunate enough to be part of the planning of your winter long stays to Portugal. It is too bad that he is no longer with us but there is no doubt in my mind that he is in a better place with no more suffering and no more pain. May God console you and help you during this very difficult time, I will keep you in my prayers. Love Elda Bernardo Galaxy Travel Ltd - Posted by: ELDA BERNARDO (FRIEND) on: Jul 25, 2013
