• Dianne, Condolences on the passing of your mom- and celebration of a life well lived. I have memories of our families getting together when we were young, the card games punctuated by your mom's contagious laugh. It always seemed such a nice story that a childhood friendship of our Dad's became a solid friendship and support between our mom's when they were on their own. She had such a positive outlook that I always enjoyed her calls to keep in touch with my mom. Sorry I could not get to the service but I wanted to say hello and send wishes on behalf of all of us. • My deepest heartfelt sympathy to you Diane, and to "Aunty" Fran and "Uncle" Pete and all your families on the loss of your Mom/Aunty. I had the pleasure of knowing your Mom throughout the years and always enjoyed her smiles, her generosity, her baking...especially her apple and raisin bars. Whenever I was in Winnipeg visiting my Mom, at Concordia Place, I always stopped by for a visit & gave her a hug and my love. Earlier this year, when I visited, we chatted and reminisced about the CWL and all the bake sales she contributed to, shared some tears and laughs and hugs. May your many memories help ease your sorrow. She was a very special lady and will be missed by many, especially my Mom, her neighbour Bernice.
