Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAURORE MARTIN December 24, 1951 - August 19, 2013 Peacefully on August 19, 2013, with her family by her side, Aurore Martin (nee Huberdeau) left us to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus. Aurore was predeceased by her father Leonard Huberdeau, brother Edmond Huberdeau and her sister Denise Fossheim. She leaves cherished memories for her three children Rebecca (Andre Ilunga), Jo-Anne (Stephane Joyal) and Sara, her five grand-children Damien, Felicia, Sebastien, Micah, Christabel, and husband of 38 years, Daniel, and family and friends too numerous to mention. Aurore was born and raised in St. Lazare, MB. She came to the city in her early twenties, met and married the love of her life Daniel. They happily raised their family in St. Boniface. Summer days were spent with Daniel doing what she loved to do the most, riding the motorcycle. Aurore worked for many years at Veterans Affairs and once retired due to illness, devoted 18 years as a volunteer at Tache Centre where she enjoyed helping the disabled and sick, and her hugs will be missed by many. Aurore and Daniel also had a passion for serving as the Prayer Ministry leaders at Springs Church for the past 15 years. Aurore was a prayer warrior up until her last breath, a devoted mother and wife and will be terribly missed. Our hearts will forever be with you! The funeral will take place Saturday, August 24, 2013 at noon at Springs Church, 725 Lagimodiere Blvd. Pastor Leon Fontaine Officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations on Aurore's behalf can be made to "Springs Inner City". So sorry I only learned today of Aurore's passing. I am so stunned and so sorry. Daniel and Aurore were known in the church family as a couple devoted to each other (oh, and their motorcycles too). Loved her smile and pleasant nature, and she could "ride"! Heaven's got a real angel and she will ever be in our fond memories. Shalom to Daniel and surviving family members. - Posted by: Nancy Eidsvig (Springs) on: Sep 09, 2013
