Lenore, we send our condolences to you and all the family. Right from the time Scott & I first met Dave in 1961 we knew he was a special friend and he continued to be through all the years. I have many happy memories of times we, as couples, shared in Prince Albert, The Pas, Thompson, Setting Lake and even when you folks met us in Corpus Christi to meet John. He was very special and we know you will miss him. Love to all of you. - Posted by: Isabelle Balzer (Newall) (Friend) on: Sep 09, 2013

I have such wonderful memories of Uncle David. I can see his long, lean frame and happy smile when I think of him as a teenager in Nipawin. I remember the first time he brought you, Auntie Lenore, out to the farm at Ridgedale to meet us. We kids were so curious about his "girlfriend" and he was so proud of you. He was always so much fun to be around; so enthusiastic and genuine. I just loved him and send deepest sympathy to all of you. - Posted by: Yvonne Healey Spies (Niece) on: Sep 03, 2013

Lenore, I am so sorry that you have lost the love of your life, but I am thankful that David did not linger any longer in a state none of us would wish. Just a year since Bill passed. Lenore Fran and I wish you and your family our deepest sympathy on the passing of Dave. The times we had trying to get a satellite signal or fixing the fence with Dave were fun. Though he was having difficulty at the time he seemed to enjoy the company and had a few laughs. He will be missed at P to P. May he rest in peace. So sorry to hear about Uncle Davie...it was nice to see you guys a few years ago. I always remember the story I was told as a kid about Uncle Davie tying the dead chicken around the dogs neck, so he would stop chasing chickens! Take care...Cindy Crockett - Posted by: Cindy Crockett (Great-Niece) on: Sep 03, 2013
