Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNADETTE MARIE FEUILLATRE (NAULT) 1921 - 2013 On Sunday September 15, 2013, Bernadette Feuillatre, passed away after a short and strong battle, at the St. Boniface Hospital. Bernadette was predeceased by her parents Charles and Angele Nault, brothers Yves, Charlemagne, sisters Rita and Collette. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years Victor Feuillatre and their three loving children Herve Feuillatre (Valerie) Yvette Schinbein (Ted), Lucie Feuillatre, four grandchildren Derrick Feuillatre (Shelley), Marcy-Lynn Larner (Barclay), Melanie Schinbein, Jonathan Schinbein (Heather), eight great-grandchildren Carley, Jordan, Hailey, Devon, Holly, Hannah, Falon, Jett and sister Suzanne Nault. Bernadette was born March 6, 1921, in St. Malo, Manitoba. When Bernadette was eighteen years old she made her way to Winnipeg. She quickly gained employment at Canada Packers where she worked for a very short time during which she met the love of her life at a dance in St. Boniface where she was swept her off her feet. They married after a short courtship and began their life in St. Boniface. Bernadette became a homemaker raising together with Victor their three children. With her youngest still at home Bernadette began working at St. Josephs Academy. After various jobs with the St. Josephs Bernadette began her twenty-five year career as a Health Care Aide. She spent many hours providing care and support until the mid-1980s when she and Victor both retired. Bernadette and Victor thoroughly enjoyed time before and after their retirement in St. Malo where they spent countless hours caring for their horses, snowmobiling, spending time with family and friends. They developed many long lasting friendships during this time of which included a lifelong friendship with the Tetraults. A celebration of Bernadette's life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bernadette to the Honduras Mission Circle, Haiti c/o 63 Hillcrest Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R2H 2J2. Special thank you to the staff of 4E, St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. "Memories are like threads of gold, they never tarnish or grow old. For 12 years we were neighbours in the same building on Deschambault St. We had our 3 sons during that time and we have some of the best memories. We have kept Mr. and Mrs. Feuillatre in our hearts and think of them often. Our most sincere sympathies to Mr. Feuillatre and family.
