EGON UNGER Peacefully on August 26, 2013 after an ongoing battle with heart disease, Egon Unger died at the age of 86 years. He is sadly missed by his daughter Hazel, his son-in-law Tim, grandchildren Josh and Tyler, sister Sigrid, son Terry and grandchildren Johnathan and Lori, and all of his friends in BC and MB. He was predeceased by his wife Ursula of 31 years, the love of his life. Egon was born in Germany and after the Second World War he came to Canada in 1954 and proudly became a Canadian citizen. He lived in Winnipeg and worked in the electronics field until he retired. Egon moved to BC reluctantly 15 years ago, although within a few short weeks he vowed never to leave BC! He was a kind and generous man who led a quiet life; enjoying an afternoon in the casino, a good cup of coffee, zipping around in his new car and tinkering with anything mechanical until it was fixed. Pop, I love you and miss you. To respect Egon's wishes, there will not be any services.
