Members of the Afro-Caribbean Association will miss having Miss Rene around at our functions. She was a very dedicated volunteer and had such a very cheerful disposition. We were shocked to hear of her sudden departure after being at our Folklorama volunteer's party just two Saturdays ago. I called her Aunt Rene because she was a very caring elder friend. It was a privilege to know her and to have worshipped together at the same Church. Her sudden departure from this life was shocking; but we have the assurance that she is alive in Christ in whom her faith was outstanding.
