  • Norman, Kim, Tanya, Lisa and family - we are so sorry for your loss. We are so fortunate to have had a child in Margaret's care for the last 4+ years. She was Cole and Bennett's 3rd grandma. She spoiled them with kindness. We will never forget how happy we were the first day Cole came home from Margaret's - his shirt and pants were covered in food, markers and dirt! We knew right away that he was in good hands, he was having fun being a kid - crafts, music, awesome toys, playing outside, eating well and super happy. He hated leaving her home. We were so relieved when she was able to take Bennett too. I remember picking him up on his first week and she had Landon and Bennett both in her arms napping, so sweet. Cole and Bennett know that Margaret is now playing with the angels and probably giving treats to our dog Recs in heaven. You are in our thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Darcy, Craig, Cole and Bennett Baker (Daycare family) on: Nov 15, 2013

  • Tanya, Kim and Lisa my heart goes out to you and your families at this very sad time. Your mom was a wonderful woman who was very supportive to all us girls at the rink during those cold winter days of skating both lessons and teaching. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Support and love each other! Take good care. - Posted by: Jennifer Chalmers (friend) on: Nov 15, 2013

  • While searching for a daycare back in September 1991, I heard over and over the name of a Wonderful lady whom I just had to meet due to all the unbelievable comments I heard about her. Many different people I spoke to while doing my search, the one name that continued to come up over and over again was “Margaret” I met Margaret Leblanc and her family and I truly saw for myself why so many had nothing but amazing things to say about this extraordinary lady. I too became one of those people when I heard of someone in the St.Vital area looking for a daycare for their family, Margaret was my recommendation. She had a heart of gold. Although we became business acquaintances by chance, we became friends by choice and remained friends to date. Each member of the Leblanc family made us feel like part of the family. Our hearts go out to each of you on the loss of a true Angel. Please take care of each other and hopefully the beautiful memories you have, can help to ease the sadness and broken hearts you are feeling today. ((( HUGS))) to you all Sincerely Laurel, Christopher & Daniel Stefura - Posted by: Laurel, Christopher & Daniel Stefura (Friend) on: Nov 14, 2013

  • Our condolences to Norm and all the family. We were neigbours with the Wellings for many years and enjoyed their friendship. Marge was a wonderful person who always put everyone ahead of herself. While my Mom (Jean) was ill Marge was always there to take her calls when she needed a friend. Marge spent a lot of time at our house cutting our hair and joking around. We will miss her. Rest in Peace Marge and know that you have touched a lot of people's lives. - Posted by: Pat Vouriot (St. Godard) (friend) on: Nov 14, 2013

  • I am so, so sorry for your loss. Margaret was always very warm and welcoming to me - from insisting she be called Margaret, not Mrs. LeBlanc (too formal), to enjoying a full dinner complete with roast chicken and pie which she made in the middle of summer, in the little kitchen of the camper trailer out at Falcon Lake! Such an amazing woman who made sure everyone around her was taken care of. She will be greatly missed. - Posted by: Crystal White () on: Nov 14, 2013
