• Bev and family. So terribly sorry to hear of Garnet's passing. Just heard today from my sister as she had been out to Lauder. Garnet and I were childhood friends and I have many happy memories from horse back riding to spending time together at Coulings and riding the school bus together and I could go on and on. • I had the honor and pleasure of working with Garnet over the past several years and he was always a man that could be counted on to be fair, objective and dedicated. He was a true professional. More so he was a caring and kind individual, a person that made your day better just by interacting with him. He will be sadly missed but he has left memories and lessons that will live on forever. • It was a pleasure to have worked with "Garnie" for many years at Transport Canada. We worked on may audits, special projects, and were partners in providing regulatory oversight of one of the largest air carriers in the region. As has been said, he was "one of the good guys" who could strike the proper balance between regulatory compliance, client education, immediate threats to public safety, and when required .... take action to protect people. I can say I was proud to know a person of his integrity and technical expertise. My sympathies to his friends and family.
