What I remember about my brother Karl: Protector - While in Grade 2, the class bully threatened me and I just said "you'll have to deal with my brother' - NO MORE TROUBLE. Fisherman & Boater - Muskie fishing in Canyon Bay, trips to Clay Lake for walleye, fly-in north of Sioux Lookout, knowledge of handling boat or canoe, tying knots, filleting fish - THE BEST. Raising a Family - along with wife, Ruth - HARD TO EQUAL. Author - Where did this come from! Self-taught, this is the work of a professional - AWESOME. Legacy - We will truly miss you Karl. You lived your life well! Rest in Peace. Love, Ron - Posted by: Ron & Gail Olofson () on: Dec 22, 2013

We are so sorry for the loss of a very special man. Uncle Karl was a very talented individual and a loving father and husband. His talent for story telling and writing will live on in the book that he wrote, "Sentimental Journey". Rest in peace Uncle Karl. You will be missed. - Posted by: Gary and Judith Heikkinen (nephew) on: Dec 21, 2013
