Condolences & Memories (13 entries)

  • Our fondest condolances to April, Auntie Monie, Christine and Pam. I have many memories of our younger years together for summer vacations at Grandma and Grandpa's cabin and home. He always made me laugh. Can't believe you're gone, you're just a few months younger than me. So this makes me realize that you need to live life to the fullest today. He lived by that philosophy. - Posted by: Colin & Ev (Evie Elder) Lawson (cousin) on: Mar 11, 2014

  • I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Rick and at such an early age. I taught Rick at Morden Collegiate back in the early '80s. I remember him so well with his light blonde hair and big infectious smile. My condolences to his wife and all the family at this very sad time. • I have many fond and cherished memories of time shared with my cousin. Snowmobiling in the winter time, or riding motorcycle in the summer time. Still recall the story of the time the snowmobile took off without him on it and almost crashed into the blue house. Working at the theatre together, running the film projector. Knowing Rick, and if he is anything like his dad or mine (Bill), I am sure he is tinkering on something in God's workshop, or fixing something somebody broke again. Heartfelt condolences and sympathies on behalf of the William J. Neufeld family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Stanley J. Neufeld (Cousin) on: Jan 04, 2014

  • Met Rick in the early 90's. Shared many a beer and a good country song with him. Never met a kinder guy, am shocked he is gone, but I can say for sure, God took a great man when he tapped Rick on the shoulder. I will miss him greatly, especially the gentle bear hugs, and his laugh. For his family, my heart goes out to you all, to lose such a wonderful person, I cannot imagine the depth of your loss. My deepest sympathy. - Posted by: Samantha Wall (friend) on: Jan 04, 2014
