ROSAIRE JOSEPH ST. GERMAINE Born May 1, 1944 - Passed January 8, 2014 With heavy hearts, the family announces the sudden passing of Rosaire Joseph St. Germaine on January 8, 2014. He is survived by his wife and best friend Juanita, children, Jeffery (Debbie), Darrin, Blair, Kayla (Brent), brothers Rene and Eugene (Louise), sisters Germaine (Stan) and Sylvia (Dennis), sister-in-law Barbara, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Rosaire is predeceased by his father Jean Baptise, mother Marie, sisters, Lucille, Melvina, Marie, Juliette, brothers, Benny, Denny, Victor, John, Arthur. Rosaire served his country as a member of The Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry. During this time he travelled to Germany and France. After three years of service, he received an honourable discharge. Rosaire later went on to work for CN Rail as a welder for over 30 years. After Rosaire retired, he spent his time simply enjoying life with his wife Juanita of 21 years. He had a love for hockey and enjoyed camping, fishing and simply spending time with his family. He loved his wife and children more than anything and always made sure they knew how loved they were. Rosaire was a humble man who was always there for you when you needed him. His smile lit up a room and his witty comments always had you laughing. Any moment spent with Rosaire was a good one. There is a void in our hearts now that you are gone. How we wish for one more moment with you, we would hold you close and make sure you know just how loved and amazing you are. You will be missed terribly by all. The family would like to thank the paramedics and staff at the Concordia Hospital for all their efforts. Cremation has taken place and a funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 13, 2014 in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. • Rosaire was an amazing man, I will always remember going over to visit him and Juanita and we would spend the whole time watching and talking sports. He always made me feel welcome, he would ask Juanita to grab me a drink and Kayla would reply "dad what about me?" and he would reply "well you can have one too" I will greatly miss him. - Posted by: Brent Timlick (Father In-law ) on: Jan 11, 2014
