ALEKSANDRA (SANDY) POPKEVICH Our beloved sister and auntie Sandy passed away unexpectedly at her home in Toronto on January 1, 2014 at the age of 52. Predeceased by her father Adam in 1983 and mother Maria in 2007, she is survived and lovingly remembered by her sister Joanna and brothers Mark, Stefan and Chris, as well as brother-in-law Tony, sisters-in-law Christine and Linda, nephews John, Andrew Adam, Michael, and Andrew James and nieces Vanessa, Carly and Talia. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Sandy found her calling in a passionate dedication to her work with New Visions in Toronto, helping both children and adults with developmental and physical disabilities. • I miss you so bad. My heart aches and so does everyone in 307. You laughed, cried, bitched, laughed some more and that ever so quiet voice of yours penetrated everyone whether we liked it or not! Lol. You cared, advocated, worked hard but over and above all else...you loved. I don't want to be selfish and say too much cuz others want to have their say too...always know...You did more for me than you know...just for being you. I love you Sandy...and I miss you so much. • I have not seen Sandy since high school graduation but I could never forget her. She was so warm and funny even then. She had great things ahead of her. I don't think she ever had a bad word to say about anyone. She will always be 17 years old in my memory. Thank you Sandy for being a part of my high school memories. You were definitely one of the good things - Posted by: Kelley Richmond-Hirst (High school friend) on: Jan 11, 2014
