Date of Passing: Dec 30, 2013
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA FRANCES HARVEY It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia Frances Harvey on December 30, 2013. Despite losing our much loved mother, grandma and great-grandma, we know she is finally reunited with her husband George. She will be forever in the hearts of her daughters Margaret Wollner; Rae (Ed) Patts; grandchildren: Christine (Don) Fredette; Chris (Melinda) Patts; Tricia Lewis; Erin Patts; great- grandchildren: Jessica and Adam Malanchuk, Arielle and Hannah Patts, Summer and Willem Light. She now joins her husband George, infant son and son-in-law George Wollner. Patricia was born in Manchester, England, in 1921. She met her husband of 56 years and came to Canada as a war bride. Two daughters were born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and then later the family moved to Winnipeg where they resided in Fort Garry. Pat's long working career was with Champs Specialty Restaurants. She enjoyed traveling with her grandchildren and she instilled in them "manners befitting of tea with the queen". Her entertaining skills were seen in large family dinners and New Year's Parties. Funeral Mass was held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at St. Vital Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. at Manahan Avenue. Entombment took place at Assumption Mausoleum. Thank you to CD4 for their loving care of grandma. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to CD4 at Riverview health Centre.
