Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • Chère Danielle. Mes sympathies les plus sincères. Ce n'est jamais facile de perdre sa mère. Nous pensons à toi et nous souhaitons la paix et courage à toi et toute la famille. Jocelyne et Harri. - Posted by: Jocelyne (Fournier) Liivamagi (Old friend - amie) on: Jan 17, 2014

  • I cherish the memories of her when I visited the Tache Centre between 2009 & 2012. She and Gabe visited me in June, 2002 when I exhibited my bike trailer at the former Princess Auto Inventor's Fair and I later lunched with them before I departed for Minnesota. I've known of her since I was five; she and my mother graduated together. I'm at peace knowing she passed on gracefully, and will be sharing heaven's sanctuary with Gabe. - Posted by: Ted Burrell (godson) on: Jan 17, 2014

- Posted by: Michelle Gnutel ( Campeau) (Friends) on: Jan 16, 2014

  • Oh Josie, what a beautiful picture of your mom. It was how I remember her, smiling with her eyes intently focused on you. As a young girl I saw your mom so often as I stopped on my way to school to get you. She always greeted your friends with a warm Bonjour! She instilled in all of us a pride in being bilingual. We spent many good times laughing with your mom and getting a hug from her was very special. Not to mention her sucre a la creme! Even after all of you had moved out your mom would call me and visit me. She loved getting news on all your school friends and sharing her news on all your family. She was very accepting of her diagnosis of Alzheimer's and was so thankful to your Dad, her caregiver. She is definitely in a better place and her memory will stay in many hearts. I am sorry for your loss and hope that the love your mom had for each of you helps you through this difficult time. Love Jackey - Posted by: Jackey LaBossiere (Friend off Josie's) on: Jan 16, 2014
