Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN PROULX September 21, 1921 - January 31, 2014 It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Helen Gibson Proulx, at St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care on January 31, 2014 after a short battle with cancer. Helen leaves to mourn her loving husband of 60 years, Ernie Proulx, and their children Anita (Mike), David (Heidi), Barbara (Alex), Bruce (Cindy) and Kathleen (Arnold). Also grandchildren Julie, Heather (Allan), Jeff (Melanie), David, Adam, Matthew, Elyse, Holly, Nicole, Anita, Eric and Kevin. As well as great-grandchildren Emily, Daniel, Ashton, Riley, Logan, Michael and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Ethel and Fred Fellowes. The family wishes to thank Dr. Pilkey and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care for their excellent care and compassion during her stay. A memorial reception will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. The family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
