Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERALD PATRICK TWOHEART March 16, 1949 - February 4, 2014 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerald Twoheart, aged 64, on February 4, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Left to cherish his memory are: his devoted and loving wife of 45 years, Linda; daughters Carol (Vern), Evelyn (Kurt) and Wanda (Roy); grandchildren Linda (Chris), Mitchell, Nicholas (Sklyar), Kerrie (Wesley), Megan, Rhonda (Josh), Marissa, Aaron and Alyssa; great-grandchildren Isis, Nikki, Mason, Trayce and Ella Mae; aunt Therese Courchene; siblings Mildred, Della (Josh), Gerry (Janet), Earl (Linda), Keith (Val), Darlene, Debbie, Corrine, Randy (Bertha), Marlon, Ruben (Geraldine); in-laws Ron, Lillian, Patsy, Glenn (Glenda), Marie (Edward), Larry and Milli. Sheila, Tania, Oliver Sinclair, George Abraham, Bill (Flip) Abraham, Clifford Girard, whom he all considered his sisters and brothers; the family that he opened his home to and became a father figure to - Alvin, Nadine, Leonard, Cheyenne and Leslie; many godchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Gerald was predeceased by his only son, Kerry Vaughn; his parents Alex and Ida Twoheart; sisters Jeannie, Marlene and Brenda; great-grandchild Baby Blue Star and many in-laws too numerous to list. Wake Services began Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Roman Catholic Church in Sagkeeng First Nation. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers are: brother - Marlon Twoheart and nephews Alvin Skeet, Robert Twoheart, Roger Shaw, Rick Twoheart, Kevin Courchene, Kyle Twoheart, Clinton Twoheart. Honorary Pallbears are his brothers Gerry, Keith, Earl, Randy, Ruben and all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family wish to express our appreciation and gratitude to the many family and friends that came to visit Gerald and offer their support while he was hospitalized. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and HCA's at the Grace Hospital and Health Sciences Centre - SICU, GD3 (Step-down Unit) and Dialysis Unit, all of whom provided excellent care to Gerald. Gerald accepted his illness many years ago and knew that his time may be limited and that at anytime he could be called home by the creator. It is because of this acceptance that he tried to live his life to the fullest and surround himself by those that he loved. Remember his big heart, his smile, his laughter for he is hurting no more. R.I.P Grandpa, I am still having difficulty grasping the fact I will no longer see you sitting at the table or computer when I walk in your house. I cherish the pleasant memories you have created and left for us throughout your time here with us.
