HELEN ELAINE CHURA (nee MICHLOWSKI) April 7, 1937 - February 14, 2014 On Friday, February 14, 2014 after a lengthy illness, Helen passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 76 years. Her memories are forever with Henry, her husband of 55 years of marriage; beloved mother of Susan, Sandra (Joseph) and Pamela (Douglas); loving grandmother of Keith, Kathleen, Brendan, Nicholas, Daniel and Michael and survived by last remaining sibling, Sophie (Cy). Helen's Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 19 at 2:00 p.m., in Wojcik's Winnipeg Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. For those who wish, viewing will be held prior to her service. Our family would like to express a special thanks to Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault, Cy Nimchuk and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital. I have a lifetime of fun and fond memories spent with the entire family. She was 'my mom next door', a wonderful lady. I will miss her dearly. I have fond memoies of Christmas Eve dinners with Aunti Helen & Uncle Hank. I especially remember the one they held in JULY as they had been away at Christmas, Helen was a wonderful lady that I did not see nearly enough of. Rest in Peace Aunti Helen.
