Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERTO C. GARCIA Peacefully with family by his side, Alberto C. Garcia passed away at Riverview, on February 28, 2014 at the age of 68 years. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Lourdes, daughters Lorraine and Arlene, and faithful companions Kissy Cat and Kit Kat; five brothers and three sisters. His eldest sister Fransisca Saure, nephew and nieces: Armando (Rowena), Merlene (Jesse) Iglesias, Clarita (Tony) Flamiano, great-nephews and nieces: James, Ninalyn, Ransley, Airen Saure, Mark Iglesias, Lester and Claire Flamiano. Bert was born April 21, 1945. He graduated in Philippines with a Bachelor of Science of Mechanical Engineer at the M.L.Q. He worked at Co-op, Implements, Flyer Industry, Motor Coach, and then took a refrigeration technician coarse where he was employed working on appliances and home air conditioning and heating. They enjoyed vacations with family. Viewing (Lamay) will be at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Thursday, March 13 and Friday, March 14, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. and funeral service will be held Saturday, March 15 at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be: Jun Ayson, Eddie Parto, Ziggy Kuz, Boy de Leon, Noel de Juan, and Rene De Jesus. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their care, in particular Dr. M. Garcia and Dr. Denick; Oncology and nurses Dawn, Lorraine, Tony and Arlene.
