WILLIAM (BILL) CUNNINGHAM FORSYTH 1928 - 2014 Peacefully, with his family by his side on March 7, 2014 at the Grace Hospital, Bill Forsyth passed away at the age of 85 years. Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife Morag in 1988, his parents, Robert and Martha and brothers, Roy and John. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Ken (Kerry), Colin (Lauren) and Christine (Dean) as well as grandchildren, Iain (Christine), Shannon and Reegan. He also leaves behind family that he loved in Canada and the UK. He was a quiet, kind and gentle man who left his life as he lived it, quietly and with dignity. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren. He immigrated to Canada in 1966 from Scotland to provide his family a higher quality of life. Bill had 25 years of dedicated service at the Health Sciences Centre in the Clinical Microbiology Department and retired in 1991. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Viewing will be held a half hour prior to service. Interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bill to CancerCare Foundation of Manitoba. Special thank you to the staff of the 5th floor, Grace Hospital for their care and support.
