Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN MOSUIK November 6, 1926 - March 11, 2014 Peacefully with family by her side, Jean Mosuik passed away at Victoria Hospital on March 11, 2014 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by her husband, John, her parents, Annie and Joe Hrabarchuk, brother Charlie Hrabarchuk, and brothers and sisters-in-law. Jean will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Sharon Middler (Pete Lazier), sisters Mary Carmichael (Hugh), Gloria Kutynec (Walter), brother Gene Hrabarchuk (Adrienne), and many nieces and nephews. Also brother-in-law Steve Mosuik (Irene), and sister-in-law Jean Mclellan. Jean was born November 6, 1926 in Vesna, Saskatchewan. She came to Winnipeg and worked at Canada Packers. She met John Mosuik and was married on October 13, 1951. They settled in Winnipeg and had one daughter, Sharon. Family was very important to Jean and her home was always open to her hospitality. She loved gardening and was very proud of her flower and vegetable gardens. She had a great love of nature and the outdoors, picking berries and mushrooms. She was on the church bowling league and won many trophies. She had a talent for many crafts. Jean enjoyed spending time with her many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (across from the Mint). Viewing will be held prior to service at 1:30 p.m. Very special thanks to Rhonda Bailey, a good friend, who spent time with Jean and took care of her needs the past three years. Thanks to the thoughtful and supportive staff on Wards 5 and 3 South at Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Victoria Hospital, 2340 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3T 2E8.
