ANDRE CROTEAU It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of André Croteau on April 2, 2014, at the age of 68, with his wife and his family at his side. André leaves to mourn, his wife Florence (Chevrefils); brothers, Lucien (Bertille), Pérè Pierre (M.AFR) and Roger; sister Pauline (Denis); and in-laws, Lorraine Marcotte, Sylvio (Jeannette) Chevrefils, Wilma Chevrefils, Linda (Edgar) Yarjau. He was loved by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father Emile and mother Maria (Mulaire) Croteau, and his brothers, Raymond and Gerald. Andy was a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. For the last 30 years, he worked in maintenance at Chez Nous and l'Accueil Colombien, a job which he enjoyed very much because he loved being in contact with people and helping them. André was a very special person that touched the hearts of everyone he came in contact with. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. He loved to watch hockey and travelling, especially cruising to exotic places with Florence. Funeral Mass will be held today, 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Cathédrale de Saint-Boniface, 190 ave de la Cathédrale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. I have know Andre since 1972 he was a great man always there to lend a helping hand with a very warm heart, he found the love of his life in Florence. It is with great sorrow that his passing will be leave a big hole in all hearts for everyone that knew him. but he will be remembered for his laughter, his compassion and his love for life. Sincères condoléances à Roger, à Lucien et à toute la famille Croteau pour la perte d'un frère très spécial. La perte d'un être tant aimé est toujours difficile.
