JOHANNA CHRISTINA VAN HUIT (nee MOLENAAR) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother Johanna Van Huit, on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at her residence at the age of 83 years. She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Henri, their three sons Frank, Rob (Tracey) and Trevor, two daughters Tanya and Jennifer and one grandchild Tristan. Mom was predeceased by her parents, son Wim and daughter Yolanda. Johanna was born and raised in Amsterdam on August 5, 1930. Mom loved knitting, word puzzles, gardening and had a great passion for her furry friends. A gathering will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 2014, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to the Palliative Homecare Unit for their support and compassion. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in memory of Johanna, to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
